New England Free Jacks Signs Killian Coghlan

The New England Free Jacks signed Boston-born and Irish-raised Killian Coghlan for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old center/wing is 6’2″ and 212 lbs.

Killian, who resides in Kinsale, Ireland, attended Kinsale Community School from 2013 through 2015 and then Christian Brothers College from 2015 through 2019. He attended Munster Technological University from 2019 through his graduation in 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering (Honours).

He has played rugby for the Irish Universities against the French and was selected for the USA Under-20s in 2020, however, matches were canceled due to the COVID pandemic. He also played Gaelic football with Courcey Rovers.

Killian joins the Free Jacks after playing rugby for the University of Cork Constitution in the All-Ireland League for the last four years.
