The Utah Warriors signed Michael Manson for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 22-year-old wing is 5’11 and 192 lbs.
Miacheal is from Invercargill, New Zealand. He attended Otago Boys High School where he was a top 3 National U18 sprinter with a best time of 10.8 seconds in the 100 meters. He then concentrated on rugby, playing for the Otago Boys High School 1st XV, the New Zealand Secondary Schools, and the New Zealand Secondary Schools Barbarians XV. He also played for the Red Bull Ignite 7s and the Highlanders U20s.
In 2021 he played in the National Provincial Championship with Otago before moving to the Southland Stags for the last two seasons.
