The Dallas Jackals signed Manuel Covella for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 27-year-old center, who also has played fullback, is 6’2” and 200 lbs.
Covella is from Rosario, Argentina, and attended Universidad Nacional de Rosario between 2009 and 2017.
He played rugby for Club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Rosario and in August 2022 he played for the team against Los Teros XV.
He also played for Argentina’s National Team with Pumitas Under-19s and Pumas 7s Senior side. In 2016 he played in the Seven Viña in Reñaca, Chile.
