Dallas Jackals Re-Signs Juan Pablo Zeiss

The Dallas Jackals re-signed Argentina international Juan Pablo Zeiss for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 34-year-old Loosehead prop is 6’0” and 265 lbs.

Juan Pablo played 1090 minutes in 16 matches, starting 15, and scored 3 tries for the Dallas Jackals in 2023. He played 806 minutes in 14 matches, starting 13, and scored 2 tries for the Houston  SaberCats in 2022.

Juan Pablo is from Bariloche, Argentina, and attended Escuela Normal Manuel F Mantilla.

He played club rugby with Los Matreros in the URBA Top 14 since 2011. He played with the Jaguares from 2017-2019, making 17 Super Rugby appearances.

He made his test debut for Argentina on 8 September 2018 against New Zealand at Nelson at The Rugby Championship and the last of his 7 tests was on 5 December 2020 at Parramatta in Australia at the Tri-Nations.

He played in the SLAR for Los Ceibos in 2020 and for the Jaguares XV in 2021. He will switch America’s leagues and play for the Houston SaberCats in Major League Rugby in 2022.
