Old Glory DC signed Scottish international Rob Harley for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 33-year-old flanker/lock (34 in May) is 6’6″ and 247 lbs.
Rob was born in Crewe, Cheshire, England. He played rugby for West of Scotland, and in the Scottish Premiership for the Glasgow Hawks in 2017-2018, and for Currie in 2018-2019.
He has made 267 appearances for the Glasgow Warriors (Warriors #188) from 2010 through 2022, a team record. He then moved to France to play for US Carcassonne for the 2022-2023 season and then for Colomiers in 2023.
Rob represented Scotland in 2009-2010, playing 15 matches for the Scotland Under-20s. He made his senior National Team debut against Samoa in June 2012 and the last of his 23 caps was against Tonga on 30 October 2021.
