Miami Sharks Adds Kirby Myhill

According to Wales Online, Welsh international Kiby Myhill is expected to play for the Miami Sharks for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 31-year-old hooker (32 in February) is 6’0″ and 235 lbs.

Kirby was born in Burry Port, Wales, and attended Glancy-Mor Comprehensive School and Coley Sir Gâr. He also attended the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

He played youth rugby for Burry Port RFC and played for the Scarlets Academy U18s. He played senior rugby for Llanelli RFC (54 matches) and the Scarlets (65 matches) from 2010 through 2016. He then played for Cardiff from 2017 through 2023 (98 matches).

Kirby played international rugby for the Wales U16s and from 2010 through 2012, for the Wales U20s. On 30 October 2021, he played for Wales against New Zealand and is Wales cap #1172.
