Dallas Jackals Re-Signs Pedro Imhoff

The Dallas Jackals re-signed Pedro Imhoff for the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 34-year-old scrum-half (35 in May) is 5’9″ and 180 lbs.

Pedro played 588 minutes in 9 starts and had 395 successful passes, the most on the club. for the Dallas Jackals in 2022. He is currently playing for Duendes Rugby Club in Rosario, Argentina.

Pedro, who is from Argentina, played for Duendes Rugby Club since 2009 and was the team’s captain in the URBA Top 13, Nacional de Clubes. He also is the former captain of Verdinegro Rugby Club.

Pedro also has been capped three times f(1 start) or Argentina. He made his debut against Uruguay in Montevideo on April 17, 2013, and followed with two tests the first week in May against Chile and Brazil. In the first two matches, he also scored tries. He also played for the Argentina Jaguares.

Dallas Jackals Comments

“Imhoff’s ability to move the ball quickly and efficiently helped our offense immensely,” General Manager Santiago Sodini said. “He provides leadership in the locker room and supports his teammates on and off the pitch.” 

About returning to the Jackals, Imhoff said, “I love North Texas and playing in front of the fans at Choctaw Stadium. I look forward to success on the pitch next season.”
