Toronto Arrows Adds Liam Bowman

The Toronto Arrows signed Oakville, Ontario native Liam Bowman for the remainder of the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 21-year-old center is 6’1” and 210 lbs.

Liam joins the Arrows after spending two years with the French Pro D2 side Montauban Academy.

Last August, Liam represented Canada as the team’s captain at the World Rugby Under-20 Canada Conference tournament held in Guelph, Ontario. He was also selected for the national under-20 program’s touring side in 2020, which was canceled due to the pandemic.

He was also with the Maple Leafs national under-18 program in 2019 and was the captain. Later that year, he participated in the World School Sevens competition in New Zealand with the Canadian Misfits team.

Before departing for France, Bowman spent a year with Rugby Canada’s Pacific Pride national development program. He also played club rugby with the Oakville Crusaders.
