Dallas Jackals Signs Tomas Cubilla

The Dallas Jackals signed Tomás Cubilla for the remainder of the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old center is 6’0″ and 220 lbs.

Tomás is from Buenas Aires, Argentina. He graduated from St George’s College, Argentina in 2015 and then enrolled at the University of San Andies in 2016, graduating with a degree in Economics in 2020.

He played rugby for Alumni in the Nacional de Clubes and URBA Top 14 since 2017. In the 2019-2020 season, he played for Jaguares XV in the Currie Cup First Division, as well as for Ceibos in Super Liga Americana. From 2020 through 2022, he played for Jaguares XV in Super Liga Americana and was the team’s captain.

Tomás was selected for Argentina XV’s 2022 of Portugal and Georgia and captained the team. He has represented the team since 2019.
