The American Raptors signed Luke Mallette for the 2023 season and hopes to be on the Super Rugby Americas squad. The 25-year-old wing is 6’4″ and 240 lbs.
Luke is from Chicago, Illinois, and attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School from 2012 through 2016. He was an Academic All-State in football and a Brine All-American in lacrosse, as well as the team’s captain.
He attended Amherst College from 2016 through his graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and played varsity lacrosse. He attended Northern Illinois University from 2020 to 2021, earning a Master’s Degree in Sport and Fitness Administration and Management. He also played varsity football as a tight end.
After graduating in 2021, he joined the American Raptors.
