American Raptors Signs Leonard Sagapolutele

The American Raptors signed Leonard Sagapolutele for the 2023 season and he has been training with the Super Rugby Americas pre-season squad. The 24-year-old tighthead prop is 6’3″ and 265 lbs.

Leonard is from Falefa, American Samoa, and calls Ili’ili his hometown. He attended New Mexico Military Institute from 2016 through 2018, played football, and transferred to Adams State University, earning an Associate’s Degree in Sports Studies in 2019, as well as, playing football. He continued at the university studying business and kinesiology.

Leonard then joined the American Raptors as a cross-over athlete in 2021 and has been playing with the team since.
