The American Raptors signed Lamarre Rey for the 2023 Super Rugby Americas season. The 32-year-old loosehead prop/hooker is 6’3″ and 275 lbs.
Lamarre is from Lynn, Massachusetts, and attended Pingree School, graduating in 2009. He won championships in basketball and baseball and also played football and soccer.
He was an All-League Eastern Independent League MVP in baseball and played two seasons in the Frontier Greus Independent League, and one season with Mount Rainer Professional Baseball League where he was a pitcher and played first base. He also played football with San Diego Strike Force.
Lamarre graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Management and Psychology.
