The American Raptors signed Adagio Lopeti for 2023 and he has been training with the team ahead of the Super Rugby Americas season. The 24-year-old lock is 6’4″ and 300 lbs.
Adagio is from East Palo Alto, California, and attended Woodside High School where he played football. He spent two years at the College of San Mateo, playing football as an offensive guard before transferring to the University of Kansas, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. He also was a 2019 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selection and played football as a center and guard.
After graduation, he joined the American Raptors.
