American Raptors Signs Steve Cluley

The American  Raptors signed Steve Cluley for the 2023 Super Rugby Americas season. The 28-year-old fullback is 6’3″ and 225 lbs.

Steve is from Manasquan, New Jersey. He was a record-breaking quarterback at Wall High School and a 2011 selection to the All-Madden team. He attended the College of William & Mary from 2012 to his graduation in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. As a junior, he was selected to the All-CAA third team, and as a senior, the team’s football captain earned All-CAA honors. He finished his three years by starting 35 consecutive games.

In 2018 he attended a mini-camp of the NY Giants and signed with the Frankfurt Universe in Germany. He also played in the Indoor Football League for San Diego Strike Force prior to joining the American Raptors in 2022.
