American Raptors Signs Mo Vainikolo

The American Raptors signed Alexander ‘Mo’ Vainikolo for the 2023 Super Rugby Americas season. The 25-year-old flanker is 5’11″ and 230 lbs.

Mo is from Kinei, Hawaii is the youngest of nine children, and played youth rugby with Maui RFC along with other members of his family. He graduated from Maui High School in 2015 and played football and track and field. He attended Mt. San Antonio Junior College and played football for two years before transferring to New Mexico State where he played football as a linebacker and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts.

Mo joined the American Raptors in 2021 and also played football for the Michigan Panthers in the USFL.
