Old Glory DC signed Alex Balladares for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old loosehead prop is 5’10” and 235 lbs.
Alex is from Silver Springs, Maryland. He graduated from Our lady of Good Counsel in 2017 where he played varsity football as a guard and middle linebacker.
He attended the Queen’s University of Charlotte from 2017 through his graduation in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government. He played rugby and helped the team win the National Collegiate Rugby Division 2 Collegiate National Championship.
During the Fall of 2022, he played for White Plains in the American Rugby Premiership, and has played for Young Glory Under-23s.
