Rugby ATL signed Evan Conlon for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old scrumhalf is 5’9″ and 185 lbs.
Evan is from Woodlands, Texas. He attended College Park High School and played youth rugby for six years with the Woodlands Youth Rugby Club. In 2016 the team won the Junior Varsity State Championship and the following year the Varsity State title. Evan was a three-time All-State selection, as well as a High School All-American.
Evan attended Lindenwood University from 2018 through his graduation with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 2022. He played rugby at the university in both XVs and 7s, was selected to the USA Men’s Junior National Team in 2018, and to the USA under-23s in 2021. He was also part of the USA Rugby Specialist Academy, a virtual one.
In July 2022 he played in the Collegiate Rugby Shield for the CAnyons at Zions Bank Stadium and was selected by Rugby ATL in the third round of the MLR Collegiate Draft as the 35th overall selection.
