Utah Warriors Re-Signs Connor Burns

The Utah Warriors re-signed Connor Burns for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old fullback is 6’4″ and 200 lbs. Conor was the 24th pick in the 2021 MLR Collegiate draft.

Connor played 548 minutes in 10 matches, starting 7, and scored 12 points (2 tries, 2 conversions, 1 penalty goal) for the Warriors in 2022.

Connor is from Reading, England, and attended Leighton Park School and Millfield School from 2015-2017. He also was a member of the London Irish Gold Academy.

He played rugby in college on a scholarship at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri from 2017-2021, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree In International Business. He was an All-Conference player for the Lions and a 2020 Rudy Scholtz Award Nominee. The Lions were Collegiate Rugby Championship winners in 2018, 2019, and 2021.

In addition to playing with the Warriors Selects this Fall and the Utah Warriors for 20222, he is the Commercial Operations Manager for the team.
