NOLA Gold Signs Trent Rogers

NOLA Gold signed Trent Rogers for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old tighthead prop is 6’0″ and 285 lbs.

Trent is from Dayton, Ohio, and attended Anderson High School in Cincinnati where he played varsity football. He played rugby for Walnut Hills, as well as for Rugby Ohio, and was selected as a High School All-American.  He played for the USA in wins against Rugby Ontario’s Under-19s.

He attended Kutztown University from 2018 through graduation with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing in 2022. He was a standout prop for Kutztown, was honored as a Collegiate All-American, and was selected to the 2021 USA Under-23s team.

Trent was selected by NOLA Gold in the 2022 MLR Collegiate Draft in the first round, as the 7th pick. He then played with the NOLA Gold Academy in the Fall 2022 American Rugby Premiership.
