Seattle Seawolves Re-Signs Alex Glover

The Seattle Seawolves re-signed Alex Glover for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old hooker (25 in December) is 6’0″ and 235 lbs.

Alex did not see regular-season playing time. for the Seawolves in 2022, however, the team liked how he was improving, which led to a new contract.

Alex is from Oakland, California, and attended Saint Mary’s College High School from 2012 to 2016. He attended Santa Barbara City College from 2016 to 2017 and played rugby for Academy Director, Kevin Battle, who now is the Operations Manager of the  LA Giltinis.

He was a trialist for the USA Under-20s in 2017, and that Summer spent three months in New Zealand playing for Rotorua.

Alex attended Saint Mary’s College of California, playing D1A Rugby, beginning in 2017 and ending with his graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Studies in 2020. He was also a lifeguard while at the college.

In 2021, Alex played for the LA Giltinis Academy, before joining the Seattle  Seawolves ahead of the 2022 season. He has played during the preseason for the Seawolves.
