Rugby New York Signs Tevita Langi

Rugby New York signed Tevita Langi for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 22-year-old tighthead prop is 6’2″, 278 lbs, and is from the Auckland area in New Zealand.

Teviita attended Massey High School where he played rugby and his performance earned him a selection for North Harbour’s Under-18s. He also played for Massey Premiers and in 2019 was named the Most Improved Player in Premier 1.

In 2020, he was selected for the New Zealand Under-20s Development Camp and played for North Harbour in the Bunnings National Provincial Championship, making 10 appearances and scoring one try. North Harbour also had three Rugby New York 2022 squad members on the team, Nic Mayhew, Kalolo Tuiloma, and Jack Heighton. Following the season, Tevita was named the Promising Player of the Year.

In 2022, Tevita was also selected for the Super Rugby Blues.
