NOLA Gold signed Liam Hallam-Eames through the 2024 Major League Rugby season. The 27-year-old lock is 6’6″ and 245 lbs.
Liam is from Parapara, New Zealand. He attended Paraparaumu College and Paleston North Boys’ High School before going to Massey University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
He has the professional experience to be a leader when he joins NOLA Gold. He played in the Mitre 10 Cup for Manawatu from 2017 to 2019. He signed with San Diego Legion, but visa issues had him signing with Jersey Reds in the English Championship for the 2019-2020 season instead.
He played with Auckland in the National Provincial Championship in 2020, signed with the Super Rugby Chiefs for a few months, and then with the Crusaders, where he played in one match against Western Force.
Liam joins NOLA Gold for the 2023 MLR season after he has played for Northland in the Bunnings NPC since 2021.
