USA Opens Rugby World Cup against Italy

The USA Women’s Eagles open the Rugby World Cup competition against Italy on Saturday, October 8 AT 7:45 pm ET, streaming LIVE on Peacock with a delayed broadcast on CNBC at 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, October 9.

Head Coach Rob Cain has made the squad selection for the match and has had the team in New Zealand for almost two weeks in preparation for the competition. The opening match against fifth-place Italy provides an opportunity for the sixth-place Women’s Eagles to move up in the world rankings.
