San Diego Legion Adds Josh Henderson

San Diego Legion signed Josh Henderson, who played for the USRC Tigers in Hong Kong, for the remainder of the 2022 Major League Rugby season. He arrived two weeks ago due to border controls and visa delays. The 24-year-old flyhalf is 6’0″ and 192 lbs.

Josh was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, and attended Strathallan School, where he played rugby, as well as playing for the Glasgow Warriors Under-16s. He also played for Howe of Fife RFC while attending the Scotland Rugby Academy and playing for the Scotland Under-16s. He also played for the Glasgow Hawks, Stade Niçois, a French Federale 2 club, on loan from the Glasgow Warriors, and the London Scottish.

Josh also represented the Scotland Under-19s and Under-20s before representing Scotland Sevens in 2018.

Josh joined the Borrelli Walsh USRC Tigers RFC ahead of the Hong Kong Premiership 2021/2022 season and is eligible to represent Hong Kong as the result of his grandfather, mother, and sisters being born in Hong Kong. He intends to switch rugby nationalities and play under the Hong Kong flag in the future.
