Dallas Jackals Obtains Connor Robinson

The Dallas Jackals obtained former Boston College Connor Robinson in a trade with the New England Free Jacks along with Matthew Gash-Gilder sending an international spot to the Free jacks for 2022, The Free Jacks now have 13 spots to the Jackals 6. Both players had signed a one-year developmental contract with New England. The 22-year-old hooker is 5’10” and 235lbs.

Connor trained with the Free jacks and played with the New England Independents in 2022.

Connor is from Wilmington, Massachusetts, attended St. John’s Prep from 2014 to 2017 and played rugby in the back-row at eight-man. In 2015 Robinson began playing with Mystic River Rugby Club and has been with the team ever since.

Upon graduating high school, Connor moved to the front row at hooker and played prop then hooker at Boston College, where he attended from 2017-to 2021. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 2021. Connor was the leading Liberty Conference try-scorer.
