[April 27, 2022, Denver, CO] – On July 15th and 16th, The Rugby Showcase allows rugby players to demonstrate their talents in an NFL draft style exhibition in front of MLR personnel, coaches, and star players before the MLR draft in August. The Rugby Showcase is presented by High-Performance Management Group and will provide professional positional coaching, laser-measured timing technology, and live scrimmaging.
The Rugby Showcase will take place at Peter Barton Stadium at Denver University and will feature Major League Rugby draft-eligible players, and those seeking to be signed in free agency.
Denver University is down the street from Infinity Park where the USA team faces Chile on July 16th. MLR personnel and USA team staff will be in Denver for the World Cup Qualifying game, so this weekend presents an incredible and unique opportunity for players to get the attention of world-class coaches. Each participant will also be allocated a ticket to the USA match.
The Rugby Showcase will be covered by the Rugby Pass and The Rugby Network. Former England International and Rugby New York stalwart, Ben Foden, will be hosting the event for the 2nd year in a row.
