The Houston SaberCats added Axel Zapata for the remainder of the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 29-year-old hooker/loosehead prop is 6’2″ and 270 lbs.
Alex played with the Jaguares since 2016 and played with Argentina XV in the Americas Rugby Championship. He joins the team after playing 12 matches for the Olimpia Lions from 2019 to 2021.
