Dallas Jackals Adds Charlie Hola

The Dallas Jackals added Charlie Hola for the remainder of 2022 Major League Rugby season after a trade with NOLA Gold for salary cap considerations. The 21-year-old No8/blindside flanker is 6’4” and 255lbs.

Charlie joined NOLA Gold from the Utah Warriors earlier in 2022 and played with New Orleans RFC.

Charlie played in one match as a reserve during the truncated 2020 season and played for the Warriors Selects this Fall. He re-signed with the Utah Warriors in 2021 but didn’t play during the regular season.

Charlie is from Mesa, Arizona, and played to the USA U18s and U19s. He has attended several Eagle Impact Academy camps and has represented the Academy.

Charlie attended Red Mountain High School from 2015-to 2019 and played football. He also played for the Tempe Rugby Club. He also played rugby at the World Rugby academy in 2019. He opened the 2020 Major League Rugby season on the Utah Warriors as a reserve against Rugby ATL.
