LA Giltinis signed Kahanu Koi for the remainder of the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 18-year-old wing (19 in June) is 5’8” and 160 lbs.
Kahanu is from Sacramento, California, and attended Laguna Creek High School, graduating in 2021. He played football in high school and rugby with the Rhinos Rugby Academy.
He played in the North American Invitational Sevens with the Rhinos Rugby Academy in 2020 and with the Academy in the 2021 Rugby Tens Championship (R10C).
In 2021 he attended the USA Pathways Academy and is part of the USA Sevens wider training group. He also has played with the LA Giltinis Senior Academy in 2021- 2022.
