Dallas Jackals vs Rugby New York Match Preview

The  Dallas Jackals host Rugby New York on Saturday, February 26 at Choctaw Stadium, Arlington, Texas at 8 pm ET. The match will be streamed on The Rugby Network.

Last Saturday, at the Jackals home opener 3,152 fans were in attendance, the most so far in Major League Rugby during 2022.

The Dallas Jackals are 0-3 to begin the season, however, they have been very competitive since an opening season loss 43-7 to Austin Gilgronis. This was followed by a 37-29 loss to San Diego Legion and a 38-33 loss to the Houston SaberCats last Saturday. They are in last place in the Western Conference with 2 points, one less than the Utah Warriors.

Rugby New York enters the match with a 2-0 record. They began their season in week two with a 10-7 win over the Houston SaberCats, and then beat Rugby ATL 36-31 last week. They remain in third place in the Eastern Conference behind Rugby ATL with a 2-1 record and 11 points, as well as behind New England, which is 2-0, with 9 points. Both teams have a game in hand as they have only played two matches. New England travels to LA to play the Giltinis on Saturday.
