The Utah Warriors signed Siaosi Nauer for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 20-year-old center/wing is 5’11″and 215 lbs.
Siaosi is from Independence, Missouri, and attended William Chrisman High School, where he played football as a quarterback, running back, and strong safety. He was an All-Conference running back in 2018 and Third-Team All-State safety in 2019.
He also played rugby for the Kansas City Junior Blues in high school and played with the Badger Kings U17s at the Rocky Mountain Challenge in 2019, and for the USA Boys High School All-Americans (U18s) in their two-match win over Canada while playing inside-center with USA Blue in December 2019. He also played in the 2020 Las Vegas Invitational Sevens, as well as with the North American Lions U19s at the Dubai Sevens in December 2021.
Following his high school graduation in 2021, he attended Lindenwood University in Fall 2021 and played rugby for the Lions. Lindenwood listed his height at 6’1″, so his height as a high school senior and his freshman year in college need to be confirmed.
