Rugby New York Signs Victor Evans

Rugby New York signed Victor Evans II for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old flanker is 6’3″ and 245lbs.

Victor is from Dallas, Texas, and attended Dallas Skyline High School. He played football and helped the team advance to the State Semifinals his sophomore and senior years. He was a1st Team Class 5A All-State and a District 9-5A Defensive MVP.

He attended Old Miss from 2015-219, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice: Homeland Security, and was a defensive end in football.

After Victor was invited to training camp with the Washington Commanders, he turned to play rugby as a crossover athlete with the American Raptors. He now joins Rugby New York for 2022.
