The Dallas Jackals re-signed Connor Robinson for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. During the 2022 MLR season, the New England Free Jacks traded him along with Matthew Gash-Gilder for an international spot to the Free jacks for 2022. The 23-year-old hooker is 5’10” and 235 lbs.
Connor played 17 minutes in one match with the Dallas Jackals after injuries had plagued the team in 2022. Connor trained with the Free jacks and played with the New England Independents in 2022. In the Fall he returned to the Boston area and played with Mystic River in the American Rugby Premiership season.
Connor is from Wilmington, Massachusetts, attended St. John’s Prep from 2014 to 2017, and played rugby in the back-row at eight-man. In 2015 Robinson began playing with Mystic River Rugby Club and has been with the team ever since.
Upon graduating high school, Connor moved to the front row at hooker and played prop, then hooker at Boston College, where he attended from 2017 to 2021. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 2021. Connor was the leading Liberty Conference try-scorer.
