LA Giltinis Re-Signs Adam Channel

The LA Giltinis re-signed Adam Channel for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old wing/fullback is 6’4″ and 210 lbs. He made his debut for the Giltinis as a starter at wing and previously played fullback for the Academy side.

Adam played 195 minutes in 5 matches, starting 2, and scored 2 tries for the Giltinis in 2021. He also was invited to the USA National Team Sevens Camp, but injuries prevented his participation.

Adam lives in Lon Beach, California, and attended Millikan Senior High School, graduating in 2015. He played rugby in high school, with the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy SoCal team, and was a USA High School All-American.

Adam played with the SoCal Griffins in 2015 and played club rugby XVs and 7s with Belmont Shore. He played for the team’s 7s team at Nationals right after high school in 2015, in the California Cup in 2016, and in the Pacific Rugby Premiership, winning the 2018 championship.

Adam also played for USA Rugby South, winning the Rugby Americas North Championship in 2017 over Guyana.
