The Houston SaberCats signed Jordan Jackson for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The estimated 23-year-old center is 6’0″ and 220 lbs.
Jordan is from Port Lucie, Florida, and attended Cardinal Gibbons High School for grades 9 to 11, where he played football, basketball, rugby, and was in the. band. He helped the rugby team win a Florida State Championship and was the Championship MVP. He transferred to Calgary Christian Academy in Fort Lauderdale for his senior year in 2016-2017 and continued to play football and rugby.
Jordan attended Taylor University from 2017-to 2021, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing. He continued playing football as a linebacker and helped the rugby team make their first appearance at the National Sevens Tournament.
He also played age-grade rugby for the USA. In 2021 he joined Rugby HTX and his performance led to an MLR professional contract with the Houston SaberCats.
