Toronto Arrows Signs Lolani Faleiva

The Toronto Arrows signed Lolani Faleiva for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 22-year-old loosehead prop (23 in February) is 6’4″ and 285lbs. He is a direct replacement for Sione Fa’aleilei, who opted out of his contract for personal reasons.

Lolani is from Napier, New Zealand, and attended Napier Boys High School. He played rugby there and spent time with the Hurricanes as an under-17 development athlete. He played for the Netherlands club Bassets in the 2019 Dutch Ereklasse.

He played his club rugby with Hawke’s Bay club side Taradale and helped the Maroons to the prestigious Nash Cup-Maddison Trophy double in 2021.

Lolani joins the Arrrows after playing with Hawkes Bay in the New Zealand National Provincial Championship.
