Toronto Arrows Signs Isaac Salmon

The Toronto Arrows signed Isaac Salmon for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 25-year-old tighthead prop is 5’11” and 255 lbs.

Isaac is from Christchurch, New Zealand, and attended Nelson College from 2011-2014. He played for the Tasman Mako in the Mitre 10 Cup, now the  Bunnings National Provincial Championship, making more than 35 appearances, and winning back-to-back championships in 2019 and 2020. The team finished as runners-up in 2021.

He signed a contract with Super Rugby’s Blues in 2018, but an injury prevented him from taking the field in the southern hemisphere’s top competition.

Toronto Arrows Comments

“Isaac has been a constant presence for the National Provincial Championship’s most successful program in recent years and brings a hard-nosed, physical style of play to our pack. With his strong two-way approach and championship experience gained with Tasman, we look forward to watching the immediate impact he will have on our team.”
