Dallas Jackals Comments

The Dallas Jackals are excited to announce Mohamed ‘Moe’ Abdelmonem has signed with the Dallas Jackals!

Abdelmonem said, “I’m excited to be back in Texas and to be part of a new organization with the vision the Jackals have. I look forward to continuing learning and giving everything possible to the success of Jackals, their players, and their fans.”

As an experienced MLR player, Abdelmonem looks to help the younger players on and off the pitch. “I hope to show the standard of what a professional rugby player is, especially with the transition into being a professional and part of a new organization. I’m also excited to work with future Openside Flankers who want to master the art of jackaling or anybody who would like to learn.”

GM Elaine Vassie said, “From our first conversation, Moe’s outlook on the team and coaching environment was so obviously in tune with what we are growing. Known for his success in previous seasons Jackaling to secure turnovers, we’re excited to see his impact on attacking to get the ball back as we head into 2022.”

Welcome to the Pack Moe!
