Rugby New York signed Jack Heighton for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 22-year-old flyhalf, who has played fullback, (23 in February) is 6’2″ and 203 lbs.
Jack is from Auckland, New Zealand, and attended Westlake Boys High School, where he either won North Harbour 1A First XV titles or made the final. He was also a captain of the team in 2016.
Jack also played age-grade rugby for the Blues while at Westlake before playing senior rugby with North Harbour since 2018 and Mitre 10 Cup in 2019 before being renamed the National Provincial Championship where he played in 2020 and 2021. He also played with the Blues in 2020.
Jack also played club rugby with Takapuna.
