The Houston SaberCats re-signed Valdemar Lee-Lo for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old loosehead prop (27 in April) is 6’1″ and 250 lbs.

Val played 123 minutes in 3 matches, starting 2, during an injury-plagued 2021 season. He played 232 minutes in all 5 matches, starting 4 times during the truncated MLR season.

Valdemar is from Dixon, California, and attended Dixon High School, graduating in 2013. He played rugby in the USA U19 National Championship for Sixon and also played junior rugby with Sierra Beach Rugby Club.

Since 2014, Valdemar has played with the Seattle Saracens, however, injuries in 2018 had him missing most of 2018 and all of 2019.
