Rugby ATL Jeremy Misailegalu 2022 Profile

Rugby ATL re-signed Jeremy Misailegalu for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The 27-year-old wing/center is 5’11” and 215 lbs.

Jeremy played 1289 minutes in 18 matches, starting 16, and scored 3 tries in 2021 with the Ratlers. After the season, he was named to the All-MLR Honorable Mention Team.  He played in the Rugbytown 7s with the Denver 7s Selects in August. He then played with Life University Men’s Club team in the American Rugby Premiership.

Jeremy played 320 minutes, starting 4 matches, and scoring one try for Rugby ATL during the truncated 2020 MLR season. He also started in for the Silver squad against the Balck Rugby ATL squad and the Utah Warriors during the 2021 preseason.

During the 2019 MLR season, Jeremy played with the Utah Warriors. He played 599 minutes in 11 matches, starting 8 times, and scored one try. He carried 63 times for 459 meters, had 2 linebreaks, 11 tackle breaks, 1 offload, and made 50 tackles.

Following the 2019 season, he played for the Park City Haggis in the USA Club 7s Nationals and then 404 Rugby ATL in the Fall 2019 American Rugby Premiership.

In 2018 Jeremy played 243 minutes, starting 3 of 4 matches, with the Seattle Seawolves during the inaugural MLR season and helped the team gain the championship.

Jeremy grew up in the state of Washington and his rugby career took off during his college years playing for New Mexico Highlands University. Misailegalu helped his university snatch up back-to-back National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) 7s National Championship in 2015 and 2016. During those respective summers, he also helped the Denver 7s Selects top international competition at the Rugbytown 7s Tournament where Denver was crowned Cup Champions.

After a strong performance at the 2017 USA Rugby Clubs 7s Championship with the Barbarians, Jeremy received an invite to a USA 7s Camp. Looking to continue his development, he headed to New Zealand for a stint with Marist Albion, Canterbury 7s, and Christchurch 7s. Misailegalu played in the inaugural Major League Rugby season with the Seattle Seawolves, in 2019 with the Utah Warriors, and in 2020 will play with Rugby ATL.
