Glendale, CO, Aug. 13, 2021 – Coloradans looking to continue the magic of international competition need look no farther than theRugbyTown Sevens Tournament where 20 teams from around the globe descend on Glendale’sInfinity Park Aug. 20-22 to compete in this quick and dynamic game of pure athletic spectacle.
“This tournament defines rugby greatness,” says Linda Cassaday, Glendale City Manager. “Infinity Park will be buzzing with athletes from around the world. Keep your eyes peeled for Olympians! Since RugbyTown Sevens is where the top teams come to play, you just may spot one or two.”
In this style of rugby, teams of seven players each advance down the field by passing, running, and kicking the ball to score a try, similar to a touchdown in American football, in a bid to score as many points as possible over two seven-minute halves.

Children 12 and younger attend the tournament for FREE. Attendees 12 and older may purchase tickets for $10 per day or $20 for a weekend pass if purchased before Aug. 16. After that, individual day tickets are $15 and weekend passes may be purchased for $25.
The purchase of an E-Sport + Rugby Tournament Pass allows for all of the amenities provided at the RugbyTown 7s tournament including 62 matches over the course of the weekend. E-sports pass holders will be among the first to watch the military e-sports competition as they play Rocket League on Friday and Sunday in the Infinity Park Event Center Ballroom. With the e-sports pass purchase, attendees receive a complimentary ticket to all of Saturday’s rugby matches. Ages four and up must buy a ticket for the e-sports tournament and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult while in the e-sports competition area.
