The LA Giltinis promoted Adam Channel from their Academy team prior to the road match against San Diego Legion. The 24-year-old wing/fullback is 6’4″ and 210 lbs. He made his debut for the Giltinis as a starter at wing and previously played fullback for the Academy side.
Adam lives in Lon Beach, California, and attended Millikan Senior High School, graduating in 2015. He played rugby in high school, with the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy SoCal team, and was a USA High School All-American.
Adam played with the SoCal Griffins in 2015 and played club rugby XVs and 7s with Belmont Shore. He played for the team’s 7s team at Nationals right after high school in 2015, in the California Cup in 2016, and in the Pacific Rugby Premiership, winning the 2018 championship.
Adam also played for USA Rugby South, winning the Rugby Americas North Championship in 2017 over Guyana.
