Director of AEG Rugby, Dan Lyle commented on the completion of teams, “Now that the field is set, we have been seeing good progress with ticket sales and hungry rugby sevens fans. Some of the most popular sections and viewing areas are filling up, so we expect an energetic turnout for this bill of teams.”

Limited tickets are available to the elimination and final rounds on June 26 at Dignity Health Sports Park, visit to reserve tickets today.

As the last international tune-up for both United States teams prior to Tokyo, Quest For Gold Sevens is excited to host quality international sides on US soil and provide a memorable experience for Team USA friends, family and fans alike.

New USA Rugby General Manager of High Performance, Dan Payne noted on the Tokyo preparation, “The opportunity for our teams to go head-to-head with potentially all Olympic-qualified nations, only a month away from the games, is massive. We know international rugby sevens has been tough to come by in recent months, so this event will really be a leg up for us, even more so with the home support. A special thank you to AEG Rugby for supporting and bringing this opportunity to life.”

GB Sevens joins the team brackets where both the men’s and women’s sides have already qualified for the Tokyo games. The Jamaican women will venture to Los Angeles following the Olympic Repechage in Monaco, which will determine their Olympic qualification status. Should Jamaica qualify, all nine competing teams at Quest For Gold Sevens will have booked their tickets to Tokyo, where the experience will agreeably live up to the event name.

With the visiting teams confirmed, the Quest For Gold Sevens official match schedule will soon be finalized and communicated to tickets holders and fans. Broadcast and live stream information is similarly to be confirmed.
