Seattle Seawolves Adds Naulia Dawai

Seattle Seawolves added Naulia Dawai for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 33-year-old back row (34 in June) is 6’2″ and 240 lbs.

Naulia played 327 minutes in five games as a starter for the New England Free Jacks during the pandemic shortened 2020 season.

Naulia is from Nadi, Vito Levi, Fiji and is married with two young children. He moved to New Zealand in 2011 and played club rugby with Southland and played in the National Provincial Championship in 2013. From 2014-2016 he made 27 appearances for Otago in the NPC. From 2016 to 2018 he played at Connacht in the Guinness PRO14. During the 2018-2019 season, he returned to Otago and made 26 appearances. He also played for the Asia Pacific Dragons side in the Global Rapid Rugby series in 2019.

Naulia has also played with the Fiji National Team, making 8 test appearances.
