The Toronto Arrows signed Jamie Mackenzie for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 32-year-old Canadian scrumhalf is 5’9″ and 194 lbs.
Jamie played 111 minutes, starting 2 matches for the Arrows in the pandemic shortened 2020 season.
During 2019, Jamie played 336 minutes for the Arrows in 8 matches. He made 24 kicks for 531 meters and made 39 tackles. He recently returned from the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Jamie is from Oakville, Ontario and started playing rugby at Appleby College and graduated in 2007. He then attended the University of Victoria from 2007-2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. He also attended the Harvard University Busines School in 2015 and the University of British Columbia in 2016, where he worked on a Diploma in Urban Land Economics.
In addition to playing rugby for the UVics, he has played for Esher Rugby Club from 2010-2012, making 20 appearances for the club and also playing in the British & Irish Cup.
Jamie has also played for the Ontario Blues in the Canadian Rugby Championship.

Jamie debuted for Canada on November 6, 2010, against Belgium. He has 21 caps with the last test against South Africa on October 8, 2019.
Jamie also played for Canada A in the 2018 Americas Pacific Challenge.
Jamie was selected for the 2011 Rugby World Cup but did not play. In 2015, he also represented Canada in the Rugby World Cup along with his brother Phil. In 2019 he played in all three matches at the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
