Old Glory DC Adds Hannibal Vaivao

Old Glory DC added Hannibal Vaivao for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. Hannibal, a prop who will be 34-years-old in a few days, is 6’2″ and 265 lbs.

Hannibal is from Long Beach, California. He attended Southeast Missouri State University from 2007-2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Studies.

From 2010-12 he played rugby union with NOVA RFC. During the Summers of 2011 and 2012, he played rugby league with the Northern Virginia Fairfax Eagles and the Washington Slayers, respectively. He played with NOVA 7s in Summer 2013.

Hannibal played rugby union with Potomac Athletic Club from 2012-2015, Park City Haggis in 2016, Seattle Saracens RFC (now Seattle) from 2017-2019, and the Washington Irish in 2019-2020. He also played touch rugby in 2020 with the DC Galaxy.

Hannibal has played representative rugby with the Capital Selects against Philadelphis United Rugby and the Old Glory Capital Selects against USA Rugby South.
