Old Glory DC re-signed Tevita Naqali for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 27-year-old Fijian lock/blindside flanker/No8 (28 in June) is 6’6″ and 243 lbs.
Tevita is from Nadroga, Fiji, and attended Suva Grammar School where he studied Technical Science. He then attended Fiji National University where he graduated in 2011 with a degree in telecommunication and networking.
Tevita played for Fiji Bati in 2010 and was selected for the U18s tour to Australia. From 2011-2016 he played for the Covenant Brothers. For the first year, he played with the U20s before moving to the Senior side the following year. He also played for the Suva Provincial Club.

Tevita played for the Fijian Drua for two seasons since 2018 in the Australian National Rugby Championship. He also played for Valladolid Rugby Asociación Club in Spain in the Division de Honor de Rugby in 2019, as well as for Fijian Latui that was part of the Global Rapid Rugby Showcase Series.
