New England Free Jacks signed Quentin Pradere for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 28-year-old center is 6’1″ and 210 lbs.
Quentin played 122 minutes in 3 matches, including once as a starter, for Rugby United New York during the 2020 pandemic shortened season.
Quentin played in two matches for 23 minutes during the 2019 MLR season for RUNY. He made his debut on 24 March against the Glendale Raptors. He carried three times for 34 meters and made 8 tackles. He also played for NYAC Rugby Club in Spring 2019, as well as for the team during Fall 2019 in the American Rugby Premiership.
Quentin is from Chiswick, United Kingdom. He attended King’s College School Wimbledon from 2007-2011 and played rugby, tennis, soccer, and was a member of the debate team. He also volunteered at Raynes Park High School, conducting and assisting with rugby, basketball, and soccer practices.
Quentin attended McGill University in Montreal from 2011-2014, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance. He was a RESQ All-Star in 2011, named McGill Rookie of the Year in 2012 and helped the team become RSEQ Champions from 2011-2013.
Quentin has also coached Under-15s rugby at Lower Canada College in 2012. He has played with the London Scottish, the Montreal Wanderers, New York Athletic Club and with Rugby United New York during there exhibition season.
Quentin was a role player for RUNY during the 2019 season. He should have a more prominent role for the team in 2020.
