Rugby ATL Re-Signs Austin White

Rugby ATL re-signed Austin White for the 2021 season. The 27-year-old outside center/wing/fullback (28 in March)  is 6’1″ and 210 lbs.

Austin started one match, playing 65 minutes for Rugby ATL at left-wing in 2020. During the Fall he played for Life Men’s Club Team.

Austin is from Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He attended Victory Christian School and then Bixby High School, graduating in 2011 and playing football, as well as for the Bixby Rugby Club.  He then attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College from 2013-2014, earning an Associate’s Degree in Physical Education. He continued playing football and earned All-Conference honors.

Austin played club rugby for Tulsa Rugby Football Club from 2015-2016. He then attended Life University from 2016-2019, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. The team won the 2018 D1A National Championship. In 2019 he was selected to the USA Falcons for the Sudamerica 7s tour, as well as the 2019 Las Vega Invitational.

Austin now looks forward to increased playing time with Rugby ATL in 2021 after the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season.
